Dolce Frégate, or sweet existence
There are so many fabulous places in Provence that it is always difficult to highlight one in particular. But how to remain insensible to the one about which I want to speak today ? Imagine, in the bend of a road on the top of a hill bordered with flowers and beautiful leafy trees, a gateway that opens onto a landscape between sky and nature. The crystal clear blue of a quiet Provencal day and the highlights of the greenery dance with the sunbeams of the spring, which adorn the flowers with their most beautiful colours. At the bottom of the hillside, we already distinguish the ochre of the bell tower which dominates what we believe to be a Provencal village hiding behind the trees. A small lane leads to a décor worthy of the greatest films of Visconti. Indeed, "Dolce Frégate" which we discover, reunites all the charming aspects proposed by this magic place and enhances them like a jewel in a beautiful case. One we have recovered from our surprise, we notice that the " Dolce Frégate " hotel, (no less than four stars), is composed of four perfectly designed buildings, which masterfully integrate into this landscape. The view on the great " Frégate Golf Course" is certainly one of the most beautiful in Europe: its eighteen-hole course stretches as far as the eyes can see, giving this place a unique depth. Terraced gardens, skilfully arranged, incite you to dream in a setting where olive trees mingle with lavender and the shimmering colours of vineyards. With its 133 rooms, a majestic presidential suite, 5 junior suites and other advantages for families, the "Dolce Frégate" stands forth as a privileged dwelling for hosting guests.
However, this décor does not overlook the businessmen. They can work in lounges specially conceived and equipped to accommodate conferences and seminars, while enjoying the gastronomic dishes concocted by the chef, Robert Hervé, whose kitchen is adorned with the best regional products, for the greatest pleasure of the gourmets who are not ready to forget the famous "Vineyard Mansion ".
As for the sportsmen who are more pressed for time, they can sample between two rounds the variety of excellent dishes proposed by "la Restanque", or near the swimming pool, those of "Les Cascades " which will certainly satisfy their appetite and appease their desires. Yes, magic places still exist, and the "Dolce Frégate" is one of them …
So have a good stay !
